Trance. Musical style. DJ information blog.

This style escaped to freedom in the early 90th, leaving behind the German techno and hardcore. Trance is based on endless repetition of short synthesizer samples throughout the track, with minimal changes are allowed rhythm and frequency characteristics of synthesizer, to be able to distinguish between songs. The effect of such music is that students are immersed in a state of trance, similar to religion. Despite the declining interest in music in the mid-90th, trance is back again, but closer to the end of the century, displacing the world music arena style house, as the most popular style of alternative dance music.
Due to the impact of acid house and Detroit techno, trance development coincided with the opening of recording studios R & S Records (Ghent, Belgium) and Harthouse / Eye Q Records (Frankfurt, Germany). R & S identified format with such singles as "Energy Flash" (Joey Beltram), "The Ravesignal" (CJ Bolland) and other compositions from Robert Leiner, Sun Electric and Aphex Twin. Studio Harthouse was opened in 1992 in conjunction with Sven Vath Heinz Roth & Matthias Hoffman. She had a significant impact on the very sound of trance, through the compositions of Hardfloor ( "Hardtrance Acperience") and his own compositions Vath ( "L'Esperanza"), plus releases to all commands Arpeggiators, Spicelab and Barbarella. Such musicians as Sven Vath, Bolland, Leiner and many others have begun to play music in full (without cuts), although it has made no specific turns of world music.
