 Soul. Musical style. DJ information blog. Soul Music was born in the process of urbanization, rhythm & blues in `60th. Now, to emphasize all existing styles, based on R'n'B. In the transition from a throw in the Motown sound to the music mental Stax / Volt, there is great diversity of Soul-music. At first it was very similar to their ancestors - R'n'B, then, acquiring regional developments and managed fresh ideas musicians began to develop in different directions. For example, in New York, Philadelphia and Chicago creators of Soul 'and focused on vocals and smooth sounding, the harmonious interaction of music and solo. In Detroit created Motown hits, pop-oriented sounds, paying attention and R'n'B and rock 'n' roll. In the south of the country music became more rigid and included crying sounds.
