Balearic Beat or Balearic House called eclectic mix of dance music, appeared in mid-80 s. Later this name has become a more concrete direction of electronic music, and then also became popular Balearic (mid-90 s).
Balearic Beat got its name on behalf of a group of islands, which conducted beach rave promoters European club. Some compilation island style known as "sound of Ibiza", does not even matter that sounded on the island and another, more aggressive music.
